Abstract

The article substantiates STREAM education as a new integrative approach to the development, education and training of preschool children. The task of forming general scientific ideas about the world in children was analyzed; introducing them to information and communication technologies; development of the ability to experiment, design; teaching children the basics of processing the content of the text, literacy, mathematics, as well as various types of art. The essence of the concept of "STREAM-education" is revealed, which is interpreted as STREAM = Science, Technology, Reading + Writing, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics - an acronym for the words - natural sciences, technology, reading + writing, engineering, art, mathematics.
