Елементи автобіографізму в романі Еріха Марії Ремарка «На західному фронті без змін»

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the autobiographical basis of Erich Maria Remarque’s novel «All Quiet on the Western Front», the analysis of the panorama of the tragedy of the «lost generation» depicted in it. Attention is focused on how the author himself explains the historical dimensions of the analyzed work, the reasons for addressing certain issues of the novel. The interpretation of the system of realistic auditory, visual, olfactory, tactile images in the novel is interesting. The work is analyzed through the prism of the achievements of critics and literary critics.
