Abstract

This article characterizes the peculiarities of forming lexical competence, emphasizes the importance of following the stages for the effective acquisition of lexical skills, characterizes the difficulties that can complicate the learning process, and draws attention to the factors that should be taken into account when teaching vocabulary.
