Abstract
This article examines the impact of the Cockney dialect on the speech and singing of the British singer and songwriter Adele. The main phonetic features of the Cockney dialect are also highlighted. It has been studied that the singer Adele is distinguished by her Cockneyinfluenced accent, which, in turn, shaped her public image and personal identity.
